Marietas Islands, located 22 miles to the West, offers extensive reef systems accessible only by boat. The islands are the
perfect site for shallow, coral reef bottoms and tropical life. Jacques Yves Cousteau closely chronicled the islands because
of the vast underwater sea life. Thousands upon thousands of tropical species surround the reef, but the big attraction is
the opportunity to spot huge pacific manta rays.

Los Tuneles scuba & snorkel
There are 3 spectacular swim through tunnels in this site and you will be able to enjoy this ride if weather permitting, possibilities are better than
good, this site is located in the East side of LA REDONDA and is totally protected from the oceanic currents, the numbers of tropical sea life are
astounding and the depths are relaxing 25 ft to 45 ft

La Pared scuba & snorkel
The south end of LA REDONDA is 100 ft high and drops vertically into the ocean and down to 65 ft deep. Drifting along this wall is the best option to
make a real dive tour, you will be able to enter a large death end cave, surface in a 45 ft deep air pocket, swim around a sea mount, couple of swim
troughs & end the dive in the southern corner of the island.

Piedra Sucia scuba & snorkel
This is a lonely rock located in the far south end of LA LARGA we prefer to drift dive from out side of the rock to the inside although currents may be
in the 1 to 2 knots, interaction with sea life is quit rewarding in both sides. The dive ends in the quiet and protected side of LA LARGA.

La Playa scuba & snorkel
One of our favorite Summer dive sites. A small cove is formed in the South-west of LA REDONDA were large schools of snappers and many species of
tropical and colorful fish gather between the rocky bottoms and a wavy sand bar, this is also a drift dive in the gentle depths of 25 ft to 40 ft.

El Canal scuba & snorkel
This is a shallow dive located on the North end of LA REDONDA facing the main land, it is also a drift dive with mild current and large chances to
swim with eagle rays and during the winter months you will be able to listen the
Humpbacked whales singing underwater, theerosion caused by the pounding ocean on the coast has formed large tunnels were in many occasions
are occupied by a group of large nurse sharks

La Montaña scuba & snorkel
This site is probably the most frequently visited by Mantas in LA REDONDA, it is a sea mount raising from 70 ft and it’s picks are only 10 ft from the
surface, it is conveniently protected from currents and makes a great dive for all levels of expertise. The site offers a very decent array of sea life
including white tips.
